Mice were pre-treated with antibiotics and infected with C. difficile (see materials and methods). Serum was collected on day 3 of infection and the levels of anti-SLP IgG were measured using ELISA. Results are shown as absorbance values for wildtype versus TLR4−/− mice on day 3 of infection at a range of dilutions of serum. Results are expressed as mean ± SEM.
