Hawking radiation/black-hole portals, Spin, and Antigravitons
Response to "Perspective - Quantum Mechanics of
Black Holes" by Edward Witten - Science 03 Aug 2012.
It uses the Complex Number Plane, ultraviolet catastrophe, and retarded/advanced electromagnetic-gravitational waves ensuing from the Maxwell-Einstein equations as a lead-in. They lead to the atom's nuclear forces being non-fundamental, the Higgs field being gravitational-electromagnetic coupling, and black holes acting as portals to other regions of space-time.
Then it proceeds to an explanation of Hawking radiation which involves classical versus quantum spin and "complex" gravitons (which may be called antigravitons) that may make it possible for gravity to produce electromagnetism.
