Application of Hierarchical enzyme classification method reveals the role gut microbiome in human metabolism

This thesis was submitted to University of Nebraska Medical Center's Graduate Studies in 2014 towards partial fulfillment of Ph.D. degree.

Developed Enzyme classification method from protein sequences method using machine learning algorithms and applied it to predict enzymes from gut microbiome.
