SpatPred

This R package includes code and data to (1) conduct simulation analyses examining effectiveness of the gIVH in diagnosing potentially problematic spatial predictions of animal abundance when fitting statistical models to survey counts, and (2) to analyze an example dataset from count surveys of ribbon seals in the Bering Sea. The package also includes a generic function for computing the gIVH.
