LACQUER includes as separate element the following dataset that is not distributed under the MIT license: NCBI BioSample, published on the National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine’s website, at: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/biosample/, distributed under the license set out at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/home/about/policies/#data.

Requirements:

• Python3
• jq (https://stedolan.github.io/jq/)

Usage:

1. To be able to run our tool you need to install different python packages presented in the file "requirements.txt ".
2. To get the results of all research questions, you need to run the makefile
3. If you want to run only a specific script, you can run it by typing Make and the specified script name (rq1-2, rq3)
