GPT-3-Powered Type Error Debugging: Investigating the Use of Large Language Models for Code Repair (SLE 2023)

This repository contains a tool called Mentat that analyzes OCaml programs and automatically fixes type errors by using GPT-3.

It also contains the necessary resources and instructions to replicate the experiments conducted to validate our technique and the comparative study to compare our approach to two other techniques. Alternatively, the produced data can be explored with instructions explaining it.
