Report: Results from the Household Simulation Model. Tomatoes.

The study employed a multidisciplinary approach, blending Discrete Event Simulation (DES) with empirical data on tomato degradation under various temperatures and packaging formats. In addition, the study is sourced from qualitative research on consumer behaviour. Key outcomes revealed that optimal storage conditions and packaging can significantly decrease tomato waste.
