Identification of novel tick antigens: Comparative genomics analysis of expressed sequence tags allows identification of putative RNAi targets in Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus

Presentation of research strategy for the identification of RNAi targets in ticks. Using a comparative genomics approach, and integrating data from genome-wide RNAi screens in the model morganism D. melanogaster, several target genes were identified and prioritized for tick RNAi experiments.
