Building Capacity for International Social Work Field Placements: A Program Development Assessment

Cultural competence and global worldviews are essential skills for future social workers. International field placements offer transformational learning experiences for students; however, the development of these placements present numerous challenges for field educators and administrators. This workshop presented capacity building strategies for international placements through a practical checklist designed for social work education.
