This seminar provides an overview of the use of drones in freshwater sciences, then focuses on remote sensing of toxic benthic cyanobacteria (specifically Microcoleus autumnalis) in New Zealand rivers.

This seminar covers case studies in the Hutt and Waingawa Rivers for an Envirolink Tools project championed by Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) and Environment Canterbury (ECAN).
