A Short Introduction to Renormalisation Group Methods

A short introductory presentation to the key ideas behind renormalisation group methods in condensed matter physics, given at the Ecole Polytechnique in 2019 as a tutorial to members of the Quantum Matter Group. This talk focused on developing an intuitive understanding of RG without going into a lot of mathematical detail, and references are provided for those who wish to learn more.
