Lenin, Ecology, and Revolutionary Russia

An historical and theoretical analysis of Vladimir Lenin, reinvestigated for his connections with early Soviet ecology, and the interconnections between dialectical theory, ecological theory, and socialist thought, which ultimately argues that, contrary to contemporary pictures of Lenin as a political leader concerned only with industrialization, Lenin himself was deeply connected with and interested in environmental and ecological issues in revolutionary-era Russia.
