The RatBot device aims to facilitate and improve the single pellet reaching task for rats, typical used to evaluate fine forelimb motor control in injury models. This device is an in cage, automated solution capable of delivering a high number of trials overnight and monitoring animal involvement in a socially housed atmosphere. Animal participation can also be restricted using a gate and an RFID reader. Trials are recorded via a raspberry pi camera and stored locally, giving the option for users to implement machine learning digit tracker software and automate trial scoring as well
