Mitigating Data Protection Harms by Addressing the Misalignment Between Data Subject Rights and the Aggregation of Derived Data Using Technology and Law

Acknowledging the limitations of data protection law for protecting aggregating data, my research provides an overview of the digital data protection landscape, identifies the relevant domains and stakeholders affected by specific technology projects, builds upon existing frameworks to assess the feasibility of data commons to help individuals as well as groups establish autonomy over their personal data.
