The three-year (2014-2017) ANCHOR Project (Accessible Network for Coordinated Housing, Opportunities, and Resilience) provided trauma-informed, culturally responsive services to unstably housed young adults who identified with the LGBTQ+ community. The ANCHOR Project’s evaluation study enrolled 148 LGBTQ+-identified participants. The gender and sexual identity questionnaire, known as the ANCHOR Supplemental Questionnaire, affirmed and explored participants’ understandings of: gender identity; sexual orientation; gender transition; the experience of coming out to family members; and pride and shame around LGBTQ+ identity. This poster presents findings from the Supplemental Questionnaire as well as implications for future research and practice.
