The Intersectionally Conscious Collaboration (ICC) protocol expands on existing models of collaboration by using intersectional competence and socio-cultural frameworks for diverse stakeholders to establish and maintain ethical, student-centered relationships. We draw from intersectionality as conceptualized by Black feminists to envisage ways to support educators in collegial relationships that leverage each collaborator’s knowledge, experiences, and skills to improve student outcomes. This protocol is the teacher education version of the protocol (ICC-TE; Boveda & Weinberg, 2020).
