The article explores the Apostle Paul’s method of preaching, particularly his use of his personal conversion and experience with divine grace as a recurring theme. It argues that Paul’s “one sermon” acts as spiritual nuclear fission, generating unending spiritual energy for fulfilling his ministry. Drawing parallels with Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel’s notion of divine wonder and the transformative power of the cross, the article contends that preachers should root their ministries in their personal encounters with the living God. Doing so not only energizes their work but also leads to spontaneous doxological combustion—a sudden, organic burst into praise and worship. The article concludes that this authentic approach to ministry can transform both the minister and the congregation.
