Public Eye Magazine articles with quotes that did not have citations:

Originally, the Public Eye Magazine did not customarily contain citations for quoted material. The practice in the pre-internet days was to make photocopies of the material being cited and place the copies into a permanent folder for each issue kept in the PRA library in our vertical files section—aka file cabinets.

These ended up being archived offsite.

Many of the quotes used in print were from the hundreds of right-wing magazines, newspapers, and newsletters to which Political Research Associates subscribed.

Others came from a huge volume of Direct Mail PRA collected by making small annual donations under a clever name to hundreds of right-wing groups. That name was on our mailbox to ensure delivery.

We have been hunting down References and cites for early Public Eye Magazine quotes that did not have citations.
