George Edward Arthur Ryder

George Edward Arthur Ryder enlisted in the Royal Navy in 1942 and went to Port Said in Egypt.

Although he was in the Royal Navy, he served on Merchant Navy ships, during the war. A list was produced of all the Merchant Navy ships that he had served on and the full service records for George Ryder were also shown.

He took part in the North Atlantic Convoys for a time and eventually served on the Mauritania and went to Australia on this ship.
