The exercise program sessions consisted of a dynamic warm-up (i.e., jumping jacks,
skipping, heels up) followed by weight-bearing and resistance exercises
(i.e., squats, lunges, push-ups, triceps dips, step up, crunches and planks).
The intervention progressed every 4 weeks, with increases in number of sets,
repetitions and/or exercise duration, and less rest between sets.
