This is a video of the world's first Versius Robotic Segmentectomy. It is a segmentectomy of the apical segment of the right upper lobe by the team in Argenteuil in Paris. It was performed using the Endoscopic base unit and two other instrument units and a 3mm hand held grasper as the 3rd instrument and and assistant port also.

They did a great job and this is likely to be the first of many robotic resections from the great team in Argenteuil.

Let me know what you think about this new robotic system now available to the thoracic surgical community.
