It is useful for identifying large - scale structures in the data. For Parker Solar Probe (PSP), the plasma and magnetic field data have been merged by linear interpolation, and the PSP speed data have been filtered with a 31 minute wide median filter window.
Magnetic field components are: Bx: red, By: green, Bz: blue, Btotal: black.
Coordinate systems for the magnetic field are HEEQ for Wind and SCEQ for STEREO-Ahead and Parker Solar Probe (SCEQ is HEEQ rotated by the longitude of the observing spacecraft).
This coordinate system is almost identical to RTN for any spacecraft close to the solar equatorial plane.
