Transformer based named entity recognition for place name extraction from unstructured text

This repository contains three main files for the reproducibility and replicability of the results presented in this paper:

ger_wiki.tar.gz - all code, results, and data used for this paper.

ger_wiki_docker.tar.gz - a self contained Docker image with all code, results, and data used to produce this paper.

model.tar.gz - an AllenNLP model archive that may be used to replicate some results without requiring lengthy model training.

Instructions for reproducing results are contained within README.md/README.pdf.
