Tables and figures supporting the findings of the study. Tables S1- S3 and figures S1 - S5 present in detail the results of the statistical analysis using multivariate generalised additive mixed effect models (GAMMS). Figure S6 and S7 present the examination of a potential effect of route familiarity and turbulence on wingbeat frequency and flapping wing speed, respectively.
