Model 2 fitting with linear ROS dynamics.

We consider a simpler model in which there is no ROS-induced oxidation of LA which removes the nontrivial feedback loop (e = 0 in Eqs 4 and 5). This model is quite similar to model 2 with the ROS-induced oxidation term but has a higher error both in the mono-culture fit and in terms of prediction of the co-culture growth (see S3 Table).
