Interventions to improve the quality of maternal and newborn care in Ethiopia: a scoping review protocol

Ending preventable maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality cannot be achieved without quality care intervention during the perinatal period. Ethiopia is one of the countries facing challenges in averting maternal and neonatal mortality. Despite different quality care initiatives targeting maternal health in Ethiopia, the quality of care has been questioned, and there has been a scoping review in this area. The current review identifies, maps, and summarises the effectiveness of maternal and newborn quality improvement interventions in Ethiopia.
