Growth of an invasive plant species on tree bark
An invasive plant species was observed to grow extensively on tree bark of trees in Singapore. This preprint presents a couple of photographs documenting the characteristics growth behaviour of this invasive plant species. Specifically, vertical strands of hair-like structures were seen dangling from the entire tree bark, and the bark surface was seen to be covered with a layer of segmented growth of another plant species.
