Supplemental Figure 1 - Serial advanced ECG (A-ECG) results as summarized by 2D and 3D Linear Discriminant Analysis plots for an example patient, a 39-year old Samoan woman with MELAS mtDNA m.3243A > G DCM treated with mitoquinone, zinc, riboflavin, thiamine and conventional heart failure medical therapy. Points (1) to (5) indicate A-ECG results from 5 distinct (serial) ECGs performed over one week, with point (4) the A-ECG result during a worsened clinical condition after metoprolol was titrated to 190mg once daily. Probability of the presence of a given disease state is grossly demonstrated by the relative proximity of the patient's given number to a given disease state (larger circles), the latter being derived from a pre-existing database of A-ECG information from thousands of earlier patients with known, imaging-proven cardiac health or disease. Note however that because this is a 2D representation of a 3D space (right), a patient’s number may sometimes have the appearance of proximity to a disease circle in the x and y planes shown, but in the z plane the distance may actually be closer to some other sphere. CAD/CMVD = Coronary Artery Disease and/or Coronary Microvascular Disease Population; LVH/LVE = Left Ventricular Hypertrophy or Enlargement population; HOCM/HCM = Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy population; NICM = Non-Ischemic Cardiomyopathy population; ICM = Ischemic Cardiomyopathy population; and LQTS = Long QT Syndrome (LQTS) population, respectively.
