TRβ is strongly expressed in the absence of functional BRCA1.

However, in the case of TRα this difference was significant on mRNA level only (A, B, D). Mann-Whitney U Tests (B, C) and the REST2009 algorithm for determining relative gene expression (D, E) have been applied. Significant changes are indicated by stars (*) and representative images are shown.
