Supplemental figure 1. Complementing Δagg4A::kan with only the major pilin subunit did not restore WT biofilm staining. Biofilm results from a 24 hour 96-well plate assay. Pink represents the wt parental strain, green the major pilin subunit deletion, purple the complementation strain. Each dot represents the mean of four technical replicates. Significance was tested by 1-way ANOVA with Šídák correction. *P≤0.05; **P≤0.01; ***P≤0.001
