The sequence of Paenibacillus jamilae CECT 5266T (AJ271157) served as the outgroup. Solid circles indicate that corresponding nodes were also recovered using maximum-likelihood [69] and maximum-parsimony [70] trees. Bootstrap values (expressed as percentages of 1,000 repetitions) >70% are indicated at each node. Bar, 0.01 substitutions per nucleotide position.
