This repository contains an online supplement to Mahowald & Fedorenko (2016): [Reliable individual-level neural markers of high-level language processing: A necessary precursor for relating neural variability to behavioral and genetic variability]. In this supplement, the findings reported in the original manuscript (based on 150 participants) are shown to replicate in a larger population (900+ sessions collected from 700+ participants), and to extend to an additional brain network (the Multiple Demand (MD) network; Duncan, 2010). For more information, please read the Overview and Methods PDFs. The core results are presented in Figure A, sample participant maps over time are presented in Figure B, and the raw markers are provided in the corresponding CSVs for each network and temporal comparison class. All NIfTI files used for the analyses presented in this repository are included via the nii.zip file. To cite this supplement, please reference Mahowald & Fedorenko (2016) as well as this repository via the DOIs provided below.
