Land cover map of Trail Valley Creek watershed, NWT, Canada based on Sentinel-2 image

A land cover map of the Trail Valley Creek(TVC) watershed in Northwest Territories, Canada, based on a Sentinel-2 image collected on August 29th, 2018. After preprocessing the image, a Maximum Likelihood classifier was used with training data located along the Inuvik-Tuk Highway and the TVC Research Station area. The landscape was categorized as open tundra, birch, alder, lake, riparian area, or road/infrastructure area.
