Representative images of imaginal wing discs of 3rd instar larvae stained with anti-GFP to visualize tGPH, a fluorescent sensor of PIP3 levels [74] (A,B) anti-pAkt (A’,B’) and anti-PTEN (A”,B”) for attp2 and PTEN-WT. Expression of PTEN-WT leads to suppression of both PI3K-induced PIP3 and pAkt levels in the posterior compartment of the wing imaginal disc.
