LambertPolymerase chain reaction products from the androgen receptor (AR) methylation assay shows random X chromosome inactivation (50–79%) in samples A and C, and skewed X chromosome inactivation (80–89%) in sample E. Samples B and D have a non-informative status. For each sample, DNA was either undigested (−) or digested (+) with the methylation-sensitive restriction enzyme HpaII. Marker (331-bp and 242-bp) fragments are visible.
