Example DICOM data

This repository is not intended to collect huge series of images, but only these files that may emphasize some structural or anatomic differences. I have been collecting them for testing purposes during the development of my own medical image reader (thanks to all contributors). I hope they might be useful for you too.

I make no copyright claim to the reproduction or enhancements to these images. It is your responsibility to use these images lawfully.

I tried to anonymize these files when needed by renaming all names (VR=PN) and removing all elements from the Patient Identification Group (0x0010), all private elements (odd groups), all overlays and curves (when needed), comments (element 0x4000) and some ID's. UID's where not re-computed. I know it's a bit rude, but I'll improve this feature later (and regenerate the files).
