Both p66α and p66β interact with histone tails

GST and GST-histone tails were purified with glutathione–Sepharose beads and analyzed by SDS–PAGE to normalize protein amounts. Equivalent amounts of GST fusion proteins were incubated with [S]methionine-labeled translated p66-proteins, as indicated left of the figure. The bound proteins were eluted with SDS sample buffer, fractionated on SDS–PAGE and visualized by fluorography.
