s were used to measure Reg3α tissue content by ELISA. Values were normalized to total protein content of the homogenates. Control mice were untreated or injected with 0.9% NaCl. Mice for the 1 h time point received a single injection of caerulein and were sacrificed one hour after injection. The other data are from mice that received 7 hourly caerulein injections and the times are relative to the first injection. Values are presented on a semi-log plot as means and sem. (*) < 0.05 compared to control of the same genotype. (+) < 0.05 comparing CF to wild type at the same time point. n = 3 to 7 mice per group and time point.
