Association of brain oxygen saturation (rcSO₂) with systemic oxygen saturation for CHD and healthy infants in supine and sitting postures.

The significant correlation of rcSO₂ with SpO₂ is apparent in each posture within each group. In addition, a difference in mean rcSO₂ values between the HC and CHD groups is apparent after accounting for the correlation of rcSO₂ with SpO₂, in that the regression lines are nearly parallel, though the CHD regression lines extend nearly 10 rcSO₂ units below the HC regression lines.
