The cell was held at −80 mV and membrane currents were elicited by stepping the voltage to membrane potentials between −50 and +70 mV in +10 mV increments. E. Tail current–voltage relationship as a function of the activating step potential of WT, P632L and WT+ P632L.The tail currents were generated by channels recovering from depolarization. Tail current peak amplitude was zero for both the homozygous(P632L) and heterozygous (WT+P632L) substrates. WT: n = 6, WT+ P632L: n = 7, P632L: n = 7.
