Ego Morpheus
The artistic work is a collaborative effort, involving a diverse group of six storytellers and artists, each contributing with their distinct disciplines, philosophical perspectives, and attitudes. This multi-disciplinary approach enriches the work, infusing it with a tapestry of insights and creative dimensions.
Conceptually, the project is anchored in the exploration of the mercurial nature of self-identity. This investigation is contextualized within the intricate web of a globalized socio-cultural hegemony, acknowledging the profound impact of broader cultural, social, and political forces on individual identities. The work becomes a reflection on the dynamic, ever-shifting nature of how individuals perceive and construct their identities in a world marked by globalization.
Moreover, the artistic endeavour lends its voice to a cultural milieu that is engaged in a quest for belonging and self-reflection. Through various creative expressions, it seeks to explore and articulate the nuanced experiences of individuals within this cultural context. In doing so, it becomes a narrative that resonates with those navigating the complexities of self-identity in a globally connected yet culturally diverse world.
