This ZIP archive contains rasters (global extent, 1km resolution, Cloud Optimized GeoTiff format) for a new version of 2015 World Terrestrial Ecosystems (WTEs), SSP-based projections of future WTEs for 2050, and raster datasets that present the types of change. Additionally, we include the new input datasets for this WTE model, which allow the comparisons of land cover and climate regions to be made. The inventory of layers in this group is as follows:

  • Version 2 of 2015 WTEs comparable to three SSP ensemble WTE .tifs for 2050 for SSP126, 370, and 585.
  • Four land cover input .tifs derived from Chen et al. (2022) that correspond to each of the above WTE layers
  • Four climate region .tifs derived from CHELSA climatologies that correspond to each of the above WTE layers
  • Three Change Type .tifs that show locations by type of change (temperature, aridity, or land cover) from 2015 to 2050.
  • One .tif with the combinations of changes that enable a custom graphic in online maps to describe the types of change in each location.
  • 15 .tifs, one for each combination of GCM and SSP, based on the CHELSA and Chen et al. sources.
