This zine explores how Western norms have become the default in many digital technologies, from interface design to system settings, under the guise of "universal design." Through critique, case examples, and visual storytelling, it challenges the idea that design can be neutral and highlights how cultural bias is embedded in the very tools we use every day.
I hope this work sparks reflection on whose values are prioritised in technology and encourages more inclusive, locally grounded approaches to digital design.
