Ship-based incubation experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of ocean acidification on phytoplankton community structure and biomass, BrVSLs concentrations, Bromoperoxidase (BrPO) activity, and dissolved organic matter (DOM) composition under different marine environmental conditions (nutrient- and iron-sufficient, nutrient- and iron-limited, nutrient-limited, and iron-limited) in the Atlantic and East Indian Oceans. This dataset contains the original data of nutrients, Chl-a, bacteria and synechococcus abundances, CH2Br2 and CHBr3 concentrations, CH2Br2/CHBr3, BrPO activity and the production rates of CH2Br2 and CHBr3, dissolved organic matter (DOC) and spectral ratio (SR) values in the incubation experiments.
