Specifically, each pixel is associated with the corresponding percent area on the ground covered by settlements. The product is distributed as single GeoTIFF file (EPSG4326 projection, deflate compression) embedding overviews for the levels 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256.
