Subbasal nerve plexus Mosaic images acquired in vivo using laser-scanning confocal microscopy of the cornea in healthy subjects and type 2 diabetes mellitus subjects of the same age. Mosaics represent wide-field images of the plexus incorporating 3D nerve path data projected onto a 2D plane.
