Source code and compiled binaries for software Tesseroids
Tesseroids is an open-source software collection for the forward modeling of gravitational fields in spherical coordinates.
It can model the gravitational potential, 3-component acceleration, and 6-component gradient tensor. Earth models can be described in terms of tesseroids (spherical prisms) or Cartesian right rectangular prisms.
See the website link bellow for more information and the latest release.
The file tesseroid-*-src.zip is an archive of the source code for the purposes of preservation and citation. The .zip file contains:
* C language source code
* Metadata files
* The PDF user manual
* Unit-test code
* A SConstruct file for managing the build
The archives tesseroids-*-bin32.tar.gz and tesseroids-*-bin64.tar.gz are compiled binaries for GNU/Linux and tesseroids-*-win32.zip for Microsoft Windows. They also containg the PDF Manual and metadata files. The software were compiled in all systems using gcc 4.7.2. See the SConstruct file in the source code archive for compile options.
