1. Global ground-based GWR estimates allocated to the 0.5º by 0.5º grid cells of WaterGAP, including 64 estimates from karst studies and the rest for non-karst areas.

2. The six major datasets used for compiling the ground-based GWR estimates dataset, including (1) Moeck et al. (2020),  (2) Mohan et al. (2018),  (3) Scanlon et al. (2006), (4) Döll & Fiedler (2008), (5) MacDonald et al. (2021), and (6) Hartmann et al. (2015).

3. The updated global 0.5° cell GWR, karstification fraction, relief-, soil texture-, hydrogeology-, and permafrost/glacier-related factors, and GWR per grid cell.
