HDF5 file with seasonal elevation data from 2015 NASA Operation IceBridge campaign (Southwest Coastal A). Contains co-registered triangulated data from 10 days in Fall 2015.
GR_NASA_ICEBRIDGE_WGS84_ATM_2015_05_05.H5
HDF5 file with seasonal elevation data from 2015 NASA Operation IceBridge campaign (IceSat-2 North / CryoSat-2 SARI). Contains co-registered triangulated data from 7 days in Fall 2015.
GR_NASA_ICEBRIDGE_WGS84_ATM_2016_05_14.H5
HDF5 file with seasonal elevation data from 2016 NASA Operation IceBridge campaign (Land Ice SW Coastal A). Contains co-registered triangulated data from 8 days in Fall 2016.
Triangulated data is stored in groups based on the instrument and acquisition date (INST_YYYY-MM-DD)
HDF5 data variables:
elev: Surface elevation [m]
error: Elevation error [m]
lon: Longitude of measurement [degrees east]
lat: Latitude of measurement [degrees north]
time: Acquisition time measured as seconds elapsed since January 1, 2000 12:00:00 UTC (J2000 seconds)
ITRF: Offset due to changes in reference frame at the measurement position at the acquisition time [m]
gia_uplift: GIA induced crustal uplift rate from a combination of coefficients from Simpson et al. (2009) [m/yr]
gia_error: Estimated GIA crustal uplift rate error calculated from RMS of coefficients from Simpson et al. (2009) [m/yr]
tide_load: Tidal elevation from TPXO7.2 harmonic constants at the measurement position at the acquisition time [m]
tide_pole: Solid Earth pole tide displacements at the measurement position at the acquisition time [m]
IQR: Mask calculated using a interquartile range algorithm (Pritchard et al., 2009)
RDE: Mask calculated using a robust dispersion estimator algorithm (Smith et al., 2017)
Geophysical corrections need to be subtracted from the elevation measurements
ITRF offsets need to be added to the elevation measurements
Time series of elevation for the 4 locations in Sutterley et al. (2018)
Data columns:
lat [degrees north]
lon [degrees east]
date [decimal years]
elevation [m]
error [m]
