Results addressing the statistical significance of differences between groups for each of the 119 terms asked about in the survey.

  1. Single-role nonspeaking AAC users
  2. Single-role speaking AAC users
  3. Single-role relatives of AAC users
  4. Single-role AAC professionals
  5. AAC users who are also relatives of AAC users
  6. AAC users who are also AAC professionals
  7. Relatives of AAC users who are also AAC professionals
  8. Others

The 5 possible responses were: "What's that?" (Unfamiliar), "I don't like it" (Dislike), "It's OK" (OK), "I like it" (Like) and "I use it" (Use). Participants could select multiple options for a term or leave a term blank.


The files in this item are:

  1. PairwiseLikeOrUseS.csv: Differences between groups in the portion of participants who liked or used a given term.
  2. PairwiseDislikeS.csv: Differences between groups in the portion of participants who disliked a given term.
  3. PairwiseUnfamiliarS.csv: Differences between groups in the portion of participants who were unfamiliar with a term.
